As a proud Bundjalung woman living on Yuin Country, Holly personally acknowledges and pays her respects to Elders of the past and present for their strength, knowledge and leadership.
She acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, waters and sky, who have thrived and lived sustainably with the land we now call Australia for more than 60,000 years.
Holly honours the continuing connection Bundjalung and Yuin people have to the land and acknowledges the stories, traditions and living cultures of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest and longest continuing culture on the planet.
